Angel Da Silva

ADS Advisors was founded by Angel Da Silva, who has spent more than two decades in the oil and gas industry. His career spans Latin America, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, where he has worked as consultant, financial advisor, university professor, contract negotiator, and reservoir engineer. He holds degrees in Petroleum Engineering, Business Administration, and Banking, including a Doctorate in Business Administration.

Angel Da Silva is the co-founder and former CEO of Wayra Energy, an oil company he built from scratch. Under his leadership, Wayra Energy secured three oil contracts across two competitive bidding rounds and scaled production from zero to over 4,000 barrels per day in less than two years. He led a 70-person multidisciplinary team with full operational control. This experience reshaped his understanding of leadership, execution, and risk management; and became the foundation for From Scratch, the book in which he share how the company was built and what it truly takes to succeed in the oil and gas industry.

Following his tenure at Wayra Energy, Angel Da Silva became an independent advisor to several oil and gas companies, supporting them in winning contracts and securing project financing. Today, he serve as Managing Partner of ADS Advisors, where he leads the structuring and development of large-scale oil & gas and mining projects; with a commercial focus across Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.

At ADS Advisors, his role centers on strategy and execution: identifying and structuring opportunities with asset owners, investors, and industrial partners, leading complex commercial and contractual negotiations; and ultimately transforming ambitious ideas into executable and bankable ventures.
